Abstract

<p>Mutations in the gene microcephalin/MCPH1 result in the neurodevelopmental disease microcephaly. A recent report provides evidence that MCPH1 controls neuroprogenitor entry into mitosis via the Chk1-Cdc25b centrosome maturation pathway.</p>
