Class Offerings
To see our catalog of classes, please review the university catalog
To review our annual course offerings, please refer to the course matrix on the Handouts and Forms tab
Our classes at the 300/400 level will always be restricted to our declared majors during period 1, and all classes will become available to any pre or non major at the start of period 2. Our priority is to make sure our students have the best access to coursework necessary to facilitate their graduation
Repeating the Intro Series
To repeat any of our introductory classes for the first time (meaning a passing grade of a 0.7 or S was received), students will need to wait to Period 2 of Registration to be eligible. Our department will not overload our courses.
If this is a 2nd repeat of the introductory series, then students will need permission of the lab coordinator for a Biology adviser to add to them and may need to wait until Period 3 of Registration dependent on space availability in the course.
We also encourage students to look at the other campuses, like Bothell B Bio 180/200/220 which for our department are acceptable equivalents for admission to the major, but not act as direct equivalents for advanced coursework.
Genome 361 and 371 is also restrictive on repeating, but for the major, please note a 0.7 is the minimum to be used toward the major requirements.
No one is guaranteed a spot when attempting to repeat.
Repeating Advanced Courses
To repeat any of our 300/400 level coursework for the first time (meaning a passing grade of a 0.7 or S was received), students will need to wait to Period 2 of Registration to be eligible. Our department will not overload our courses.
