Research Scientist/Engineer
My research interests lie at the intersection of engineering/technology and biology. Specifically, I'm fascinated by the brain and the unquantifiable nature of psychiatric disorders. I'm interested in advancing our understanding of brain disorders, including the reciprocative relationship between treatments and neurophysiology/behavior. Additionally, I'm interested in the role of the immune system and inflammation on disorders of the brain.
I'm currently working with our collaborators on the machine learning aspect of the FREUD (Fast, Reliable, Electrical, Unconscious, Detection) project, working towards improving the assessment of suicidality and psychosis.
I graduated from the University of Washington in 2022 with my Bachelor degrees in Biology and Mechanical Engineering.
