Richard Olmstead, Professor of Biology and Curator of the Herbarium at the Burke Museum, was honored as a 2021 Arthur R. Kruckeberg Fellow by the Washington Native Plant Society (WNPS). This is the highest accolade given to a member of the WNPS.
The honor is named after Art Kruckeberg (1920-2016), former Professor of Botany at the University of Washington, founder of the WNPS, and a prominent botanist and gardener.
