Carl Bergstrom, professor of biology has been busy trying to counteract misinformation about the COVID-19 pandemic. Wired has published an article detailing Carl's debunking of Scott Minzter's viral twitter thread. Both the Wired article and The Daily Kos discussed Carl's deconstruction and debunking of Aaron Ginn's widely shared Medium post, which has since been removed. 

Carl will also be on Chris Hayes (MSNBC) prime time next week.

He and Jevin West, associate professor UW information school, created Calling Bullshit, a course about data reasoning in a data driven world. Their book, Calling Bullshit: The Art of Skepticism in a Data-Driven World will be released August 4, 2020.
