Artist Presentation [video]: Claude Zervas

Monday, December 5, 2016 - 12:15

Claude has designed artwork for the large wall (13’ tall x 90’ long, in three parts) that runs down the spine of the first floor of the future Life Sciences Building (LSB). He is an outstanding artist living in Seattle, working in a wide variety of mediums. After getting to know the architects, design teams, and meeting with many department members, Claude is back to present his design concept to the Department. A few examples of his work include: paintings of quasicrystals made with a painting machine, a light sculpture at the Seattle Art Museum, and a recent video installation in the lobby of WWU’s Performing Arts Center.
