I am broadly interested in the systematics, evolution, and paleobiology of crocodile-line archosaurs, and the ecological and evolutionary factors that drove the diversification of Archosauria.
I am particularly interested in a clade of crocodile-line archosaurs called Shuvosauridae, which are small, bipedal, and posess a toothless beak. What do shuvosaurids tell us about early archosaurs and the crocodile-line and bird-line split? What do shuvosaurids tell us about homology and convergence in Late Triassic archosaurs?
