Rosalee comes to UW to join her third lab using hummingbirds as a model to research physiology, behavior, ecology, and combinations of the above. She would like to investigate physiological limits in both field and lab experiments, including measurements of maximal feeding rates for integrations into models. Her workspaces include LSB, the Burke Museum, and field sites of South America. When not researching, she enjoys trail running, backpacking, writing, and running a small Etsy shop.
