My research uses seabirds as "ecosystem sentinels" to model impacts of anthropogenic forcing factors (including climate change and oil spills) on marine environments.

I am a Biology: Data Science Ph.D. Candidate. I earned my B.S. in organismal biology in my hometown of Portland, Oregon before coming to UW for graduate school. I live in Seattle with my husband and two cats. In my free time, I love to do logic puzzles and read golden age detective novels.
