Celebrate Wai Pang Chan’s achievements at Awards of Excellence ceremony on June 7
Wai Pang Chan, research coordinator, has received a Distinguished Staff Award.
According to one of Wai’s nomination letters, “He keeps abreast of newest technologies. He organizes opportunities for us to try the latest and greatest new scopes on the market and invites participation of all who are interested. He never settles for status quo. Wai is constantly listening, learning and mastering complex technical information and shares his insight to benefit many.”
Announcement: P. Dee Boersma
Celebrate P. Dee Boersma’s achievements at Awards of Excellence ceremony on June 7
P. Dee Boersma, professor, has received the Distinguished Contributions to Lifelong Learning Award.
According to one of Dee’s nomination letters, “Dee’s curiosity and knowledge inspire everyone around her to ask questions and discover their own answers. Dee has never stopped learning and she expects nothing less from those around her…she fosters continual growth, and, because of this, you see her students going out to make a conservation differences; I think she would say this is one of her greatest legacies.”
Please celebrate Pang and Dee’s outstanding achievements by attending the Awards of Excellence Ceremony in Meany Hall on June 7 at 3:30 p.m.
The program includes a one-hour ceremony hosted by President Ana Mari Cauce and Provost and Executive Vice President Jerry Baldasty, followed by a reception with hors d’oeuvres, desserts, a photo booth, and a chance to connect and celebrate with your team members and the rest of the UW community.
