The Department of Biology’s Botany Greenhouse serves research, education, outreach, and curatorial purposes. The support offered by the Greenhouse staff allows undergraduate, graduate, and faculty researchers to conduct elaborate and expansive research projects. Thousands of undergraduates from classes all over campus visit the Greenhouse throughout the year to learn about adaptation, diversity, ecology, and even botanical illustration. The Greenhouse’s outreach program hosts thousands more from K-12 classes, garden clubs, senior centers, and more. Fulfilling our commitment to research, education, outreach, and curation requires a lot of work, but we are dedicated to our mission of increasing awareness and knowledge of the plant world. We warmly welcome your support as we pursue this mission!
