The Department of Biology is pleased to be able to offer its graduate students support for their research projects and the preparation of their theses through the following awards and fellowships. Requests for proposals go out twice a year, in fall and spring.

Upon notification of winning an award, students will work with department staff to purchase research supplies and/or tickets for travel. Fellowships are disbursed for the quarter the student requests, which may be any quarter during the coming calendar year (winter, spring, summer, or fall).
